1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and optional business information you provide (company name, phone, website, address). When you use our proposal generation features, we collect the professional profile data, client information, and project descriptions you enter.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve our proposal generation service
  • Process your account and subscription
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
  • Provide customer support

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your proposal content or professional profile to train AI models.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • LemonSqueezy — payment processing. LemonSqueezy handles all payment data as our Merchant of Record. We never see or store your credit card information.
  • OpenRouter — AI model provider for proposal generation. Your project descriptions and professional profile are sent to AI models via OpenRouter to generate proposal content.
  • Railway — cloud hosting for our API servers.
  • Vercel — cloud hosting for our web application.
  • Neon — cloud database hosting.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication tokens, and encrypted database connections. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can export all your data at any time from Settings > Account. When you delete your account, we schedule permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period during which you can reactivate. After the grace period, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (via the data export feature)
  • Correct inaccurate data (via your profile settings)
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Object to processing of your data

7. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie (refreshToken) for authentication. This is an httpOnly, Secure cookie required for the service to function. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
